| | Every time I watch a new drama, I've started to notice a pattern
One, there's usually a love triangle. Two, I watch the ones with more comedy than with actual drama. And three, in a love triangle, I usually root for the second man a.k.a. the guy who usually doesn't end up with the heroine. Then I wonder to myself, "Why? Why do the guys that I like NEVER GET THE GIRL?!"
Some examples:
In Goong, I preferred Yul over Shin. Yul was sweet, kind, and romantic, AND he can sing. He was always nice to Chae-gyung. And Shin was just cold. Chae-gyung starved herself over him while he was away. And what was he doing while he was away? Oh not much, he was just screwing around Hyo-rin even though he is MARRIED to Chae-gyung. No big deal. Yul was always there to comfort her and save her, but no. Chae-gyung chooses to stay with Shin. It was kind of sweet at the end, but I mean c'mon. If the guy I married treated me the same way Shin treated Chae-gyung, I'd run away to England and elope with Yul.
In My Girl, I actually prefer Jeong Woo over Gong Chan. Gong Chan was alright, I was pretty satisfied with him being paired with Yoo Rin. The way they got together was sweet. I guess I like Jeong Woo more is because he is more my type. But still, Yoo Rin and him had some really good chemistry. The problem I had with Gong Chan was that he couldn't tell his ex to fuck off! Sure they broke up, but she always came back and he really wouldn't do much about it. Jeong Woo had lots of women, bt since he met Yoo Rin, he wasn't really "playing around" anymore. Even Lee Da Hae (actress who plays Yoo Rin) said she would've chosen Jeong Woo.
In Delightful Girl Choon Hyang, I definitely liked Mr. Byun over Mong Ryong. Mong Ryong was such an ass! Mr. Byun was old by a little bit, but he was better looking, nicer, and more successful. Even when Choon Hyang stated that she loved Mong Ryong, Mr. Byun was patient about it and said he'd wait for her. And Mong Ryong kept going back to his bitch of a girlfriend, Chae Rin. Gawd, this guy was the worst. If Choon Hyang, HIS WIFE, was about to jump off a bridge, no, Mong Ryong wouldn't come to her rescue. He'd run over to Chae Rin, who has a SEVER paper cut and it needs immediate medical attention!!!!
And right now I'm watching Witch Yoo Hee a.k.a. Witch Amusement. I like Joon Ha more than Moo Ryong. Actually, I think my opinion will be a little biased because Joon Ha is the same guy that plays Yul from Goong and Moo Ryong is the same guy that plays Mong Ryong in Delightful Girl Choon Hyang. I haven't finished the series but it's already obvious who Yoo Hee is going to be with *rolls eyes* Moo Ryong is actually a good guy. He's nice and he knows how to treat a girl. The problem that I have with him? He has a girlfriend, Seung Mi. I think he should've stayed with his girlfriend. Seung Mi is probably the only girlfriend-turned-ex in a drama that isn't bitchy. And Joon Ha is Yoo Hee's first love and it's so obvious that they still like eachother. He even canceled his engagement to another woman after he met Yoo Hee at their college reunion. Now if that's not love, I don't know what is.
....Maybe the heriones just love being mistreated by their man? I don't know I guess so because the guy that they choose is usually an ass.
So to all the guys out there who just lost their girl in a love triangle, you can always come to Peach for some comforting
